Holiday Season

Sometimes you take things for granted. Holidays, namely Christmas is always quite a festive time on the islands and two-plus years of the pandemic brought a halt to our traditions. It was the only way we could survive. We had to find other ways to celebrate and this meant doing so virtually.
Our new normal affected everyone. Grandparents could not have their grandchildren and other loved ones visit, and “brick and mortar” businesses that relied on customer traffic for sales and profits were dreadfully affected. The malls were closed and visiting all the malls and comparing their decorations was a staple tradition of mine.

Thankfully, we can do a bit more this year and very cautiously so as the pandemic, as well as the flu, are still present threats. Whatever we do and however ever we partake in the festivities we must do so with this in mind.

Holidays also mean receiving gifts and of course, most times giving gifts and the latter is where we at Your Wardrobe come in.
