Health and Wellness – Balance is the Key

Fancy accessories which I make, help you look good on the outside but I have said in a blog before that you have to feel good on the inside before you can look well on the outside.

Health and wellness is important and it is about finding a balance that works for you. Diet or eating healthy is key as well as getting enough rest, sleep, exercise and fresh air. Avoiding stress or stressors is also fundamentally important.

Always, it is suggested that you consult a qualified physician before you embark on any intended changes, be they negative or positive to your health. Many of us start off with New Year resolutions that quickly fade, as life takes over daily. One system that you can employ to help you keep your resolutions concerning health and wellness is to write your goals down.

Drinking More Water

Goals can be simple, for example many of us do not drink enough water and it is advised to consume more water and less carbonated drinks or juices containing artificial sugar or sweaters. It always helps to carry a handy reusable drinking bottle around as this allows you to have water at hand when you need it.

Bottles like these can really help to motivate us to drink more water.

Counting Your Steps

Counting your steps encourages you to challenge yourself to keep moving. Most phones have apps that track your steps. You can transfer your step target from your Health and Wellness Planner which you downloaded https://yourwardrobe.biz/free-2020-calendar-down-load-now/ to your app. If you are like me and you cannot log you phone around all day, there are “Fit watches” which do pretty much the same thing. Take this cute stylish watch for example.

From taking the steps instead of the elevator or walking instead of driving, what ever it is, write it down and remind yourself of where you are planning to go.

A term often used is “mobility” as opposed to “sedentary lifestyle” the goal is to add more movement into your daily activities as it does make a world of difference.

Take up Gardening

Taking up a new hobby like bike riding, hiking or swimming can ensure you get more movement. Another fantastic hobby is Gardening. Even if you have space or not you can garden using containers which is more manageable. Sometimes when you plant in a yard space you end up spending a lot of time fighting with weeds but that is another topic. Particularly when your work involves sitting all day you can increase your circulation by gardening. In just a few weeks you not only get exercise by you decrease your food bill.
