Another Christmas Drink

We said we would help you get ready for the Christmas festivities and so we shall. This week’s blog talks about a wonderful drink that so many of us enjoy at this time of the year called Lime Syrup Twist. Easy to make and the ingredients are few.

You will just need 12 Limes, 10 cups of water, 2tbs of Almond Essence, 2 1/2 Cups Sugar and a bottle of White Rum, these quantities would vary according to the amount you wish to make. Extract the lime juice and mix all the other ingredients together and bottle. For those who love the taste of alcohol, you can add more rum just as you do when you’re making fruitcake. You can store it in the refrigerator and share with your visitors for the holidays.
