Beautiful Flowers Inspire New Accessories

When you are someone who crafts, you can find inspiration anywhere. You could be looking at a beautiful sunset or enjoying a day at the beach when you come across some sea shells scattered on the sand and get an idea for a beautiful natural jewelry piece. I also get a lot of inspiration from plants.

There is a lot of color and design in plants and flowers. From green leaves to brown and then there are all sorts of colorful weeds. Usually, the flowers wilt away by mid-morning or mid-day because of the sun, but when you create an accessory inspired by any of these beautiful flowers I see around, you can have it much longer.

Take this beautiful yellow Okra flower, for example (yes, the ants were having a field day). It would add so much style if you were to wear it in your hair or as a broach or rosette. Again, it would not last very long as is; however, our beautiful accessories or handmade broaches do.

Here are just a few Rosettes that this flower inspired.

Feel free to visit our entire collection of Rosettes at link and you will be happy to know that more styles are on the way. Also, look out for our new Rosette Product video.

Thanks for stopping by and see you in my next blog.

I grew up seeing my mother on the sewing machine a lot. Our house was always filled with fabric and I was bitten by the sewing bug at an early age. Today, in addition to Photography, I also make accessories and children’s clothing, under the Your Wardrobe Label.
